About the RoleA high-trust, high-visibility, high-impact role sitting right next to a Board Member - this is not a traditional assistant position. Alongside classic EA/PM responsibilities, the person in this role is directly involved in strategy, business development, and the coordination of corporate matters at group level.
Responsibilities
- Act as a close, trusted right hand to a Board Member, working side by side on strategic, business development, and corporate matters at group level
- Manage the Board Member's calendar, inbox, and daily priorities, keeping their time focused on what matters most
- Organize travel, accommodation, and day-to-day logistics, including for extended international stays
- Support business development activities: research, relationship coordination, and follow-through on strategic opportunities
- Handle correspondence, expense reports, and other day-to-day administrative matters on the Board Member's behalf
- Coordinate and drive execution of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects on the Board Member's behalf
- Prepare, structure, and often draft materials, presentations, and briefings for board-level and senior leadership discussions
- Act as a trusted point of contact between the Board Member and internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners
- Coordinate corporate matters at group level, ensuring smooth communication and execution across business units and geographies
- Track and follow up on action items, decisions, and deliverables arising from meetings and strategic discussions
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion at all times
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, accurately representing the Board Member's interests in fast-moving situations
- Travel extensively and be based abroad for extended periods (up to 6 months per year) alongside the Board Member
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience also valued
- Prior experience in the area - as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Project Manager, or similar role supporting senior leadership or board level, ideally in a corporate, holding, or multinational environment
- Willingness to relocate within Europe immediately (must)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and stay abroad for up to 6 months per year (must)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and seniority levels
- Comfortable operating at group/holding level, across multiple business units and geographies
Desirable Skills
- Interest or background in product and strategy topics is a plus
- Experience using AI tools as part of daily work
- Prior exposure to business development or corporate strategy functions
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English
