Job Summary

The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for leading technical discussions and solution development for key accounts, providing advanced technical guidance. Keyfactor is expanding and looking to add Senior Solution Engineer for the Iberia and broader EMEA Territory. Solution Engineers with Keyfactor work both in a high-level consultative role, meeting “C” level executives, and at same time becoming the Trusted Advisor in their day-to-day interaction with Keyfactor’s prospects. Selling Keyfactor’s products and services to potential clients, implies selling all the way up, from a focused, technical PoC, to a vision of a solution that our client will be proud running. The right candidate will be highly proficient in establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers up to and including the “C” level and have a proven ability to close business in the mid-market to enterprise commercial corporate accounts.

You will be working closely with several internal stakeholders, including inside sales, professional services, sales, marketing, finance, and management, and the ability to create good personal relationships within the company will be essential to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discussions with key clients, understanding their requirements and challenges, and providing advanced technical solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Drive solution development for key accounts, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet specific customer needs and are technically robust.
  • Provide advanced technical guidance and expertise to both internal teams and clients, serving as a subject matter expert in the field.
  • Contribute to strategic sales initiatives by leveraging deep product knowledge and understanding of customer needs to support the development of effective sales strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and other teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product capabilities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to provide insights and recommendations for product enhancement and innovation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships based on technical expertise, reliability, and a commitment to delivering value-added solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to help them develop their technical skills and advance in their careers.
  • Participate in product testing and feedback to provide meaningful, actionable feedback to improve product quality and user experience.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in leading technical discussions and solution development for key accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic sales initiatives and mentor junior team members.
  • Strategic thinking to contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Mentorship skills to support the growth and development of junior team members.
  • Adaptability to handle evolving market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English language - written and verbal.
  • Ability to independently drive large customer meetings (onsite and virtual) to develop and document a recommended architecture and deployment roadmap.
  • Strong IT/OT security background, both in theory and practice.
  • Strong interest and thorough understanding of applied cryptography.
  • Sufficient knowledge of the various industry standards and experience in working with customers towards achieving compliance: eIDAS, ISO27k, IEC 62443, PCI-DSS..
  • Ability and interest in conducting technology PoCs.
  • Experience in responding to extensive and complex RFIs/RFPs
  • Industry and professional certifications are key: TISP, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure etc.
  • Experience working with both partners and direct sales.
