Job Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, operational performance analysis, and strategic reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership to improve visibility into plant performance, product profitability, and business trends.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of financial or business analysis experience, strong experience working within a manufacturing ERP system, and advanced skills in Power BI, Adaptive Planning, and operational reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans
  • Analyze revenue, gross margin, material costs, labor costs, burden absorption, and manufacturing variances
  • Perform detailed variance analysis between standard cost vs, actual cost, forecast vs. actual results, production plan vs. operational output
  • Support monthly close through financial reporting and business performance reviews
  • Build financial models to evaluate pricing decisions, capital investments, capacity utilization, customer profitability
  • Analyze manufacturing performance including labor efficiency, scrap rates, purchase price variance, inventory turns, on-time delivery, throughput
  • Track backlog, bookings, and shipments to improve revenue visibility
  • Partner with operations leaders to identify cost savings and process improvements
  • Monitor inventory valuation and excess/obsolete inventory exposure
  • Support SIOP / demand planning with financial insights
  • Extract and analyze data from Epicor ERP
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPI scorecards, Operational performance reporting
  • Build automated reporting in Microsoft Power BI
  • Support forecasting and planning processes in Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Improve data integrity across item costing, BOM structures, labor reporting, inventory transactions
  • Assist with report writing, BAQs, and data validation in Epicor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, operational finance, manufacturing analytics
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot tables, Financial modeling, and Complex formulas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with Epicor ERP
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Workday Adaptive Planning
  • SQL and database reporting experience
  • Experience with BAQs, Dashboard design, ERP reporting tools
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations

The annual base salary range for this position is $89,200.00 to $122,000.00.
