Full description
Join us at Kivra! We are looking for people with passion for software development, love solving problems, and thrive in agile development environments. We have grown tremendously and are looking for an Android developer that, together with a team of motivated developers, will make the app more valuable for all Kivra users.
At Kivra, we are building services that connect over 6 million people by providing a safe and accessible digital infrastructure that everyone in Sweden can trust and use. At the same time, we are saving trees - reducing the paper that is printed and transported - by providing a better digital alternative to physical paper communication.
Are you our next Android Developer?
We are looking for a skilled Android developer with a strong sense of both usability and design to help build our native Android app. You will be part of a cross-functional product team of developers, designers, and a product owner, while working closely with our 6 Android developers to continuously improve the app. With around 2.1 million users engaging with our app daily, your work will have real and immediate impact.
About the role
You will work closely with all parts of our mobile application lifecycle. This includes designing, implementing, testing and deploying our Android application with focus on performance and scalability. Together with the team you will be focusing on improving existing services and features, as well as creating new ones.
You will be part of one of our product teams and report to the Engineering Manager. Fluency in English is required and fluency in Swedish is a plus but not required. We are unfortunately not able to sponsor new work permits, but are able to sponsor/renew existing work permits.
If you want to be part of an innovative team, this is it!
We think that you:
- Are skilled in Android, Kotlin, Kotlin for Gradle, Multiple module projects, Dagger/Hilt and Espresso.
- Are interested in building Android applications with Compose. Our app is in Compose and using primarily Compose navigation.
- Are experienced in software development and agile methodology.
- Enjoy working within all aspects of agile development focusing on writing, reading and talking about the code.
Moreover, we value previous experience in agile methodology and that you enjoy working within all aspects of agile development. To solve problems we strive to collaborate and we think that you have the same mindset. Just like us, you are passionate about your craft and take ownership over your own development. At Kivra, we believe in automation and staying ahead by embracing emerging technology, and AI is no exception. We're looking for people who take a proactive approach to AI, actively exploring how it can sharpen their work and help you and the team work smarter.
We offer
Kivra offers a place in a committed team with the opportunity for a high degree of innovation. You will be involved in influencing Kivra's exciting business and product development of a service that is currently used by more than half of Sweden's population. We offer the flexibility that life sometimes requires, but we believe that collaboration and value creation happens best when we sit and work together from our office in central Stockholm.
We offer competitive remuneration and great benefits. Read more about our core values and benefits here: https://jobs.kivra.dev/!
