Join a collaborative global technology team where you'll help shape the future of our cloud platforms, improve engineering efficiency and work on solutions that support leading wealth management businesses across the UK and international markets.

We're looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to help reduce friction in our deployment pipeline, enabling our teams to deploy, test and release changes faster, more frequently and with greater confidence. Supporting our UK business, you'll work closely with engineers, architects and product teams across Vietnam and the UK to build, automate and operate secure, scalable AWS and Kubernetes environments that underpin our wealth management solutions.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services
  • Partner with UK-based engineering teams to deploy and manage application changes
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and application issues across Kubernetes environments
  • Develop automation to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency and cloud health
  • Manage patching, certificate management, monitoring and observability tooling
  • Support incident, problem and change management activities
  • Optimise infrastructure for performance, cost and reliability
  • Contribute to cloud strategy, continuous improvement initiatives and the wider GBST Cloud community
  • Participate in an on-call rotation providing out-of-hours support for critical production systems

What you'll bring

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s), including application deployment, troubleshooting, logging and Service Mesh technologies
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, RDS, DMS, API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, AWS Backup and networking components such as PrivateLink and Transit Gateway
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Terragrunt, GitOps and Helm
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with Git, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence working directly with UK-based colleagues and stakeholders
  • Experience supporting production environments and business-critical applications

Working Hours

This role is based in Ho Chi Minh City and supports our UK business. You'll be expected to maintain regular overlap with UK working hours and participate in a shared on-call rotation to support business-critical services outside standard operating hours.
