About the Opportunity

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations for a manufacturing environment in Ayer, Massachusetts.

This hands-on leadership position will oversee plant engineering and maintenance programs, capital projects, equipment reliability, and facility improvements while supporting safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering, maintenance, and facilities teams to support safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Manage CAPEX projects from planning and budgeting through implementation and completion.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, CMMS, work orders, spare parts, and equipment reliability.
  • Develop engineering solutions to improve production efficiency, equipment performance, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams on equipment installations and facility projects.
  • Manage department budgets, contractors, service providers, and third-party vendors.
  • Lead equipment startups, commissioning, qualifications, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the facility.
  • Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering and maintenance team members.
  • Support compliance with applicable GMP, food safety, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide occasional on-call support and maintain operational continuity as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering, maintenance, or facilities teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing CAPEX projects, preventive maintenance, CMMS, and equipment reliability programs.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide occasional on-call support.
