Full description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analyst based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented Data Analyst supporting data-driven marketing, reporting, and business operations. You’ll work extensively with large datasets, using advanced SQL to investigate, transform, and analyze complex information. The role combines data analysis, quality assurance, dashboard development, and troubleshooting across CRM, marketing, inventory, and external data sources. You’ll help ensure that reports and datasets are accurate, reliable, and ready to support business decisions. Working closely with a US-based reporting team, you’ll contribute to both recurring deliverables and ad-hoc analytical requests. The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, highly organized, and comfortable investigating discrepancies until the underlying issue is understood and resolved.

Accountabilities

• Write, debug, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, aggregate, transform, and analyze large volumes of marketing, CRM, inventory, and automotive-related data.

• Work with complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and other SQL techniques to produce accurate and actionable datasets.

• Investigate and resolve data logic issues and discrepancies assigned through tools such as HubSpot and Jira.

• Trace historical CRM and data inconsistencies to identify root causes and ensure reliable reporting.

• Audit, clean, standardize, and validate large external datasets before they are incorporated into reports or analytical workflows.

• Review sources such as automated email lists, advertising platform performance data, and vendor feeds to identify data-quality issues.

• Build, update, and maintain client-facing dashboards and reports within business intelligence environments.

• Translate structured reporting requirements into accurate dashboards and analytical deliverables while following established product and reporting standards.

• Perform rigorous quality assurance on datasets, dashboards, and reports to ensure accurate and reliable deliverables for customer-facing teams.

• Collaborate with the US-based reporting team through regular stand-ups and other communication channels to prioritize and resolve analytical requests.

• Manage ad-hoc data requests and analytical tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proactively investigate unexpected results, inconsistencies, and discrepancies rather than simply reporting that numbers do not match.

• Contribute to improving data processes, reporting quality, and analytical workflows through continuous learning and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or in a comparable analytical role.

• Experience working with marketing, SaaS, automotive, CRM, inventory, or other business datasets is highly desirable.

• Advanced SQL proficiency, including the ability to write and optimize complex joins, CTEs, aggregations, and analytical queries.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or ClickHouse is preferred.

• Strong analytical and investigative mindset, with a natural curiosity for understanding why data does not match expected results.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.

• Ability to take structured analytical requirements, such as Jira tickets, and execute them independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience performing data validation, quality assurance, cleansing, and standardization across multiple data sources.

• Experience building or maintaining dashboards and business intelligence reports.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify root causes rather than treating only the symptoms of data issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• C1 English proficiency required, with the ability to collaborate effectively with English-speaking stakeholders and international teams.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple analytical requests and priorities.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to continuously learn, adapt to changing requirements, and improve analytical processes.

• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and collaborate across time zones.

Benefits

• Compensation: $1,800–$2,300 USD per month, depending on seniority and skill set.

• Employment type: Full-time contract position.

• Work arrangement: Fully remote.

• Location: Brazil, as part of a broader Latin American remote talent environment.

• Work remotely while supporting an international client and collaborating with a US-based reporting team.

• Opportunity to work with large and complex datasets spanning marketing, CRM, inventory, advertising, and automotive-related information.

• Hands-on exposure to advanced SQL, business intelligence, data quality, and reporting workflows.

• Opportunity to contribute to client-facing dashboards and data products.

• Collaborative environment with regular interaction across international teams.

• Opportunity to develop analytical, technical, and communication skills in a data-driven environment.
