Full description

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager with 4-5 years of experience driving technical programs within engineering teams. The ideal candidate has strong command of SDLC processes, is fluent with Atlassian tooling, and has a track record of managing stakeholders across product, engineering, and senior leadership. This role requires someone who can run day-to-day program management with an agentic, ownership-driven mindset — proactively identifying risks, unblocking teams, and reporting on productivity without needing constant direction.

Key Responsibilities • SDLC & Program Delivery: Plan, manage, and drive execution of technical programs across the full SDLC — from requirements and design through development, testing, release, and post-launch support.

  • Technical Program Management: Own sprint planning, backlog grooming support, release schedules, and cross-team dependency tracking for engineering programs.
  • Atlassian Tooling: Configure, maintain, and drive adoption of Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools for project tracking, workflows, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with product managers, engineering leads, and senior leadership to align on priorities, timelines, trade-offs, and status; run steering/status meetings and executive updates.
  • Productivity Reporting: Track, analyze, and report team and program productivity metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput, sprint predictability) and translate them into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, log, and mitigate program and delivery risks; maintain risk registers and drive timely resolution of blockers and issues.
  • Agentic Program Ops: Independently manage day-to-day program operations — standups, follow-ups, documentation, and coordination — with an agentic, self-driven approach that minimizes hand-holding.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, up-to-date program documentation, RAID logs, roadmaps, and status reports accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline SDLC processes, tooling, and reporting to improve team efficiency and delivery predictability.

Required Qualifications & Experience • 4-5 years of experience in project/program management, with a significant portion managing technical programs for engineering teams.

  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models).
  • Hands-on, day-to-day experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), including dashboard and workflow configuration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders across product, technology, and senior leadership, including running executive-level updates.
  • Proven ability to define, track, and report productivity and delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput).
  • Solid grounding in risk identification, tracking, and mitigation for technical programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day program activities independently and proactively, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
