We are looking for an experienced Game QA Specialist to join Pazu Games and take an active role in ensuring the quality, stability, and overall experience of our games.
This role requires strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of game behavior and user experience, and the ability to work closely with Game Design, Development, Art, and other teams throughout the development process
Responsibilities
- Test new game features, updates, and content throughout the development cycle.
- Identify, document, and reproduce bugs, providing clear and detailed information to the development team.
- Investigate issues and help narrow down potential causes before escalating them to the relevant teams.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
- Ensure gameplay, visuals, animations, UI, and features behave correctly and align with the intended design.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, checklists, and regression suites.
- Identify potential quality risks and edge cases early in the development process.
- Work closely with Game Designers, Developers, Artists, and Product teams to ensure a high-quality player experience.
- Support release readiness by ensuring critical flows and features have been thoroughly tested.
- Help improve QA processes, documentation, and testing methodologies over time.
- Clearly communicate issues, priorities, and quality concerns to the relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Manual QA, preferably within gaming, mobile applications, or another complex digital product.
- Proven experience testing features from development through release.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and bug lifecycle management.
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, regression suites, and checklists.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies across gameplay, UI, visuals, animations, and functionality.
- Experience working closely with Developers, Product, Designers, or other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize testing based on risk, impact, and release requirements.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned features and testing areas.
- Excellent English communication skills – Must.
- Experience with Unity – Strong advantage.
- Experience working on live games with frequent releases and content updates – Advantage.
- Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Full-time, in-office / hybrid model.
