As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be the go-to technical expert for some of our most strategic opportunities. From shaping solution design and influencing customer decisions to supporting successful implementation, you'll have a direct impact on revenue growth, customer success and the future direction of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery workshops, understanding customer requirements, workflows, integrations, security considerations and business objectives.
  • Design scalable cloud-based solutions that align customer needs with Reuters Imagen's platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Act as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, delivering compelling demos, handling technical discussions and building customer confidence.
  • Partner with Commercial and Account teams to develop proposals, RFP responses, statements of work, solution designs and effort estimates.
  • Advise customers on deployment, hosting, integration and configuration approaches, championing sustainable, configuration-led solutions over custom development.
  • Identify technical risks early, develop mitigation strategies and ensure smooth transition from sales through implementation and delivery.
  • Remain a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts, supporting complex implementations, feature adoption and ongoing optimisation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams, sharing customer insights, influencing product direction and contributing to presales tools, technical playbooks and market expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales support for enterprise or SaaS software
  • Demonstrable track record closing or materially contributing to complex technical deals in the US and North American market
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, hosting architectures, and storage solutions (AWS and Azure essential)
  • Strong expertise in data modelling, cross-system data reconciliation, and integration design including API patterns, data attribute mapping, and business process dependencies
  • Able to deliver product demonstrations and handle technical objections from developers to executives
  • Experience creating technical proposals, SOWs, architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and RFP responses
  • Comfortable operating post-sale in a technical advisory capacity alongside delivery teams
  • Fluent professional English; able to work independently in a remote environment and across time zones
  • Proven use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for research, analysis, and workflow efficiency

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in sports, media, broadcast, or content management technology sectors
  • Knowledge of video codecs, transcoding, metadata standards, live ingest protocols, and content delivery workflows
  • Understanding of AI services and their application in video processing, automated tagging, data enrichment, and intelligent content discovery
  • Experience with Salesforce, Azure DevOps, and Monday.com
  • Familiarity with SAML/SSO, access control models, and security and compliance requirements common in enterprise media environments
