Position Summary

The Surgical Commercial Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Surgical business unit (BU). In this role, you will provide financial and analytical guidance in support of strategic and tactical BU goals. The position will work cross-functionally with key Surgical BU stakeholders while providing financial analysis and decision -making support for initiatives across the business. Success in this role requires teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.

This position will be based in Morrisville, N C.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly SBU results including communication of variance versus forecast and budget.
  • Participate in the forecasting and budgeting processes, including coordinating with department heads to make updates as needed.
  • Ad hoc support and analysis of business issues for Surgical SBU business partners as well as the VP Finance, Surgical.
  • Provide basic financial insights to business growth trends and profitability.
  • Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and SBU financial statements are following corporate accounting policies and standards.
  • Collaborate and cooperate with other Teleflex departments to achieve objectives.
  • Research and analyze data to provide a clear, cohesive explanation of business drivers
  • Prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines and be curious with a passion for efficiency.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor' s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting required.
  • Minimum two years in a Finance position or a position involving business-related analytics and problem-solving.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Analytical, highly organized, attention to detail ard self-motivated.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Functions).
  • Experience with SAP/ BW, Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting, and Hyperion FM is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to learn, ask questions, and problem solve.
