Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Design, develop, and maintain Microservices-based applications.
- Build highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance backend services.
- Integrate with Core Banking Systems, payment gateways, and third-party enterprise platforms.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and frontend developers in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+.
- Hands-on experience with:• Spring Boot
- Spring MVC
- Spring Security
- Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Strong SQL and database design skills.
- Experience with Git, Maven, or Gradle.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and Clean Architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Docker & Kubernetes
- RabbitMQ / Kafka
- Redis
- API Gateway (Spring Cloud Gateway, Kong, or similar)
- Spring Cloud (Config Server, Eureka, OpenFeign, Circuit Breaker)
- OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak, or other Identity & Access Management solutions
- CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with banking, fintech, or enterprise applications
- Knowledge of secure software development practices (OWASP)
