Ciklum is looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As an Automation QA Engineer, become a part of the team who works on one of the critical domains by executing critical Partner Data consolidation.

As a recently formed team, they have many opportunities and ideas for sharing value back to the customers within their continuously expanding platform. They're looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute automated tests, performance benchmarks, and security validations for the consolidated data platforms
  • Ensure data migrations and unified APIs meet strict latency, throughput, and security requirements
  • Be a collaborative member of a modern software team by owning, supporting and contributing to processes, standards, and designs alongside engineering teams in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Canada and beyond
  • Be product-oriented. Develop software that other people want to use, define product features, participate in workshops with other product development teams and communicate the technical work of your team to other product development teams
  • Own workstreams and track the progress you are making towards the wider goals of your team, and transparently communicate that progress to your team and Technology Manager
  • Ensure you and others continuously improve by proposing and implementing new processes, designs and engineering practices that make your team more effective
  • Take responsibility for supporting your changes all the way through to proving that they work well – and continue to work well – in production

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as Automation QA
  • Experience with Automated Testing Frameworks, Performance Profiling Tools, and Security Testing practices
  • Able to work independently and collaborate to solve complex problems
  • Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Critical thinking and good communication skills

  • Investigate, define and resolve complex issues
  • Able to work in distributed cross-functional teams effectively
  • Influence customers and team members on the project level
  • Plan, schedule and monitor your own work competently

  • Confident Intermediate English (or higher) is a must
