Requirements

Your Opportunity

Stantec is looking for a motivated Project Manager with Land Development, Roadway and general civil engineering experience to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia. Your role as Project Manager is to manage the design and delivery of projects and to maintain relations with current and future clients within our Infrastructure business line.

This role will include serving as the primary contact for our clients and has overall responsibility for the success of all assigned projects while working on large scale & highly visible development projects as well as public sector city/county/municipal transportation projects throughout the greater Atlanta, Georgia region.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintaining strong client relationships that allow us to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and grow our people through work on exciting and challenging projects.
  • Develop value-added solutions to clients' needs and lead the successful pursuit of contracts for engineering and consulting services.
  • Increase the company's profile within the transportation industry through participation with appropriate business and professional organizations.
  • Perform strategic planning and plan execution for both operations and business development.
  • Planning, organizing, and supervising the work of other engineering design professionals.
  • Effectively negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting services.
  • Review engineered designs and plans for conformance with applicable state, regional & local agency standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professional and technical staff.
  • Marketing and business development efforts for land development and general civil engineering projects.
  • Perform and direct all aspects of civil engineering design including layout/geometry, grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, and erosion control. Projects may include land development (all types/sectors), roadway/intersection design, hydrology/hydraulic stormwater modeling, hydraulic modeling of pipe networks, preparation of construction plans and related design reports.
  • Prepare complete submission packages, supporting calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties; effectively facilitate the agency review/approval process.
  • Monitor and control project progress, staffing, budgets, and methods of analysis and objectives and keep client informed of progress, budget, work progress and challenges.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
