Candidates must hold a university degree in IT and possess at least 15 years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in UML modelling, Agile methodologies, and excellent command of the English language are required.

Full description

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems;
  • Create Vision and Business Case documents or contribute in developing Vision and Business Case documents;
  • Functional requirements and business cases analysis;
  • Create and maintain documentation of business requirements and solutions using appropriate documentation standards;
  • Provide input for the software development process;
  • Modelling business processes;
  • Requirements/needs management and tracking;
  • Risk analysis.
  • University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
  • Experience in product scope definition, requirements elaboration, experience in negotiation with actors from the business and IT community, as well as technical knowledge in specific areas (e.g. UML modelling);
  • Experience with large organisation administrative business processes;
  • Experience with iterative project management methodologies (e.g. Agile);
  • Excellent knowledge of business analysis, modelling, tools and techniques (use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity relationship model etc);
  • Ability to give business and technical presentations;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
