The opportunity

 

We're looking for a Product Manager, Data to help shape the future of data at Netwealth.

This is an opportunity to own a meaningful area of our data portfolio, leading the discovery, prioritisation and delivery of data products that create value for advisers, clients, partners and internal teams. Working within a cross functional squad, you'll partner closely with Engineering, Product and business stakeholders to solve complex problems, influence strategic direction and deliver scalable, high performing data solutions.

 

You'll balance day to day delivery with long term thinking, identifying future opportunities while embedding a data as a product mindset across our modern data platform.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Own and drive a key area of the data portfolio, ensuring the team focuses on the highest value opportunities for customers and the business
  • Lead end to end product management activities including discovery, problem definition, prioritisation, roadmap development and delivery
  • Partner with Software Product & Engineering and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable and well governed data products across Azure, Snowflake and Power BI
  • Define and track data product success through OKRs, metrics, adoption and business outcomes to guide decision making and prioritisation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Software Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, Operations, Risk and Compliance to deliver seamless customer experiences

About you

 

You're an experienced product leader with a strong technical data background who enjoys solving complex problems and turning data into meaningful business outcomes. Equally comfortable working with engineers and senior stakeholders, you bring a data driven mindset, strong commercial judgement and a passion for building products that create value for customers and the business.

  • Proven experience delivering data, analytics, platform or technology products that have driven measurable business outcomes
  • Previous experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst or in a similarly technical data focused role
  • Strong experience working with Snowflake and a solid understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies, analytics and data ecosystems
  • Demonstrated product management capability across discovery, delivery, prioritisation, measurement and continuous improvement, supported by strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro, alongside an understanding of data governance, privacy, risk management and emerging technologies including AI
