Full description
About the Role
This is a Senior or Staff Product Designer role on a small, focused design team building an AI-powered procurement platform for industrial companies. You'll define how agentic AI capabilities surface for non-technical procurement professionals, shaping patterns that make automation feel natural, trustworthy, and genuinely useful. Clear, reliable design directly determines whether powerful AI features are adopted and deliver real cost savings to customers.
What You'll Do
- Define how agentic capabilities present in the product, from communicating that an agent is working to surfacing what it found.
- Design interaction patterns where AI and human judgment collaborate rather than compete.
- Produce short-horizon vision work (3 to 6 months) as prototypes and tangible artifacts to guide the team.
- Raise product craft and coherence as engineering velocity and feature output increase.
- Work directly in code for last-mile polish, checking out PRs and tweaking interactions before shipping.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate complex procurement workflows into usable experiences.
What We're Looking For
- 5 or more years as a senior or staff product designer with a shipped portfolio in B2B SaaS, complex workflows, or data-heavy products.
- Strong capabilities across visual design, interaction design, product thinking, and systems design rather than a single-specialty profile.
- Ability to prototype runnable product experiences beyond Figma and make last-mile interaction improvements in code.
- A developed point of view on trustworthy AI product experiences, covering transparency and appropriate automation.
- Comfort inventing new interaction patterns under ambiguity and shipping tangible vision work on short horizons.
- Regular hands-on use of AI tools such as large language model assistants and AI-native coding tools as part of your design, research, and prototyping workflow.
- Startup or high-growth company experience, or equivalent project complexity.
- Bonus: experience designing agentic or autonomous AI features, or familiarity with procurement or manufacturing domains.
