We're searching for a Skopje-based Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team, so that we can deliver integrated, high-impact technical solutions aligned with business strategy. The Engineering Manager will lead multiple teams across diverse technical domains to optimise workflows, allocate resources, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, so that we can advance our organisational capabilities and support the company's long-term technical vision. In this hybrid role, you will report to Yas Poptani.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Translate organisational engineering strategies into actionable plans and allocate resources across multiple teams to ensure effective, timely execution.

  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive integrated solution delivery.

  • Apply in-depth technical expertise across diverse domains to guide teams in building scalable and reliable engineering solutions.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, analysing operational data and workflow metrics to remove bottlenecks and improve team performance.

  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability practices to track system health, performance, and reliability across engineering initiatives.

  • Drive high-quality delivery through automated testing pipelines, reducing technical debt while mentoring and developing engineering talent across multiple disciplines.

What Kind of Things We're Most Interested in You Having

  • 4+ years' experience leading multiple engineering teams or managing other technical leads (typically 10 to 25 engineers in total), with input into resource allocation and departmental budget planning.

  • A broad technical background across multiple engineering domains (software, infrastructure, cloud) with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Leadership, architecture, or cloud certifications are advantageous.

  • Experience operating in a regulated environment, with a practical understanding of security, governance, risk, and compliance considerations, and a track record of service ownership across more than one team, including reliability, performance, and incident response.

  • Proven capability to translate functional engineering strategies into operational initiatives, ensuring resource allocation and workflow optimisation within defined business objectives.

  • Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical challenges, leveraging deep domain expertise and modern DevOps practices to maintain scalable and reliable systems.

  • A track record of implementing robust observability, monitoring, and continuous delivery practices, fostering a culture of high-quality and timely solution delivery, along with the ability to operate effectively amidst ambiguity.
