About the role

Requirements

You can look forward to

  • Classifying and assessing threats to our IT landscape using vulnerability scanning tools
  • Supporting IT teams in remediating vulnerabilities across network, storage, cloud and email environments
  • Continuously monitoring current threat landscapes and vulnerabilities (e.g. via specialist portals, security blogs and alerts) and assessing their relevance for our IT environment
  • Analysing incidents such as potential cyberattacks as well as spam and phishing campaigns to enable early detection and mitigation of threats
  • Planning and implementing measures to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal IT security requirements

You come equipped with

  • Theoretical knowledge in IT security (e.g. through a relevant degree) and/or practical experience in IT security
  • Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, particularly network protocols and vulnerability management, ideally complemented by experience with IT security architectures
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux and cloud-based workplace systems and servers
  • Initial experience with enterprise networks and cloud environments is an advantage
  • German at a business fluent level and English at a conversational level
  • The ability to maintain an overview in complex situations, combined with a sense of responsibility and an eye for Innovation
