Full description
Tech Soft 3D is the leading provider of engineering software development toolkits and enterprise applications for CAD/CAE data conversion, visualization and data publishing.
We’re looking for a Financial Data Analyst to lead the automation and optimisation of key reconciliation and reporting processes at Tech Soft 3D. With a primary focus on US Health Benefits, finance accounting, and NetSuite-based workflows.
The individual in this role brings a balance of finance acumen and technical expertise, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, audit-ready solutions in a dynamic, collaborative hybrid environment.
We are looking for candidates located, in or close to Lyon since the role is either hybrid or in-office
What You’ll Do:
- US Health Benefit reconciliation automation: Design, build, and maintain automated reconciliation processes for US Health Benefits at both the employee and health carrier level, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Finance & accounting reconciliation automation: Identify manual reconciliation activities across finance and accounting workflows and implement scalable, automated solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk of error.
- Financial reporting & variance analysis: Support the update of the monthly financial reporting package and perform analysis of main variances.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with HR, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data quality, and continuously improve financial processes.
- Documentation & controls: Document automated processes, maintain reconciliation logs, and support internal control and audit requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or financial data analysis, including at least 1 year directly relevant to this role (finance automation, reconciliation, NetSuite, or financial reporting).
- Strong Excel skills — advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query — and experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude to improve productivity and automate repetitive tasks.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience including saved searches, workflows, and NetSuite automation.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation methodologies, and financial close processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Familiarity with US Health Benefits administration or health carrier billing processes.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
- Curiosity for process automation, finance transformation, and continuous improvement.
- Prior exposure to multi-entity consolidation in NetSuite, including FX translation and intercompany eliminations.
- Experience working in an international company.
- Fluency in both French and English.
Reasons to Not Apply: We believe in matching great talent with the right roles. You might want to pass on this opportunity if:
- You prefer a slow-paced environment that resists change
- You expect rigid job boundaries and minimal cross-team collaboration
- You’re uncomfortable working across global time zones or adapting to evolving priorities
- You prefer highly structured oversight over autonomous, results-driven work
Benefits and Other Cool Stuff: Our employees enjoy a complete benefit package, health coverage, bonus potential, exceptional paid time off and holidays, and generous parental leave. Not to mention, the cool perks you get as a “Techsoftian”… fun culture, a relaxed and inclusive environment, outstanding leadership, continuous learning and growth opportunities, flexible daily schedules, a charitable donation matching program, home office reimbursement, monthly internet allowance, and an amazing employee recognition program (winners get an all-expense trip anywhere in the world!).
The salary for this role is based on experience, education, and skills.
As our Co-Founder, Ron Fritz, says: “You almost can’t walk down the street and see a man-made thing that somehow hasn’t been touched by Tech Soft 3D technology. That makes me feel great.”
