Sr. Director, Data Science and Business Intelligence
Remote-based position
The Role
We're looking for a Sr. Director, Data Science and Business Intelligence to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of the advanced analytics, data science, and business intelligence capabilities that shape our data-driven products, client solutions, and business decisions. You'll partner closely with product, technology, sales, and business leaders to translate complex data into clear insights, scalable solutions, and measurable outcomes.
What you'll do
- Set the strategy for data science and business intelligence, aligning priorities with product, technology, client, and business goals.
- Lead delivery of predictive analytics, machine learning models, dashboards, reporting, and other scalable data solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to turn complex business and client needs into actionable insights and data products.
- Oversee model development, validation, deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement to drive business outcomes.
- Establish standards for data quality, governance, documentation, experimentation, model performance, and responsible AI use.
- Communicate insights, recommendations, risks, and progress to leadership, internal teams, and external clients.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, business intelligence, statistics, economics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum eight years' progressive experience in data science, business intelligence, advanced analytics, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to set analytics strategy, define roadmaps, prioritize high-impact use cases, and deliver scalable data products, dashboards, models, and insights that support business and client outcomes.
- Proven experience developing or leading statistical models, predictive analytics, machine learning solutions, experimentation frameworks, forecasting approaches, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Strong technical fluency with modern analytics, business intelligence, and data science tools and methods, including SQL, Python or R, dashboarding and visualization platforms, cloud-based data environments, and model development practices.
- Working command of data quality, governance, documentation, privacy, and responsible data use.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear narratives, executive-level recommendations, client-facing presentations, and practical solutions that move from concept through implementation and adoption.
