We have an open vacancy for a DevOps Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the DevOps team: day-to-day guidance, mentorship, workload allocation and performance management, and support the wider engineering teams as they adopt shared ways of working.
  • Own the team’s technical roadmap across the automation platform, CI/CD pipelines and cross-department automation, translating it into a clear, prioritized delivery backlog.
  • Design and implement the repository and pipeline architecture: a common structure with strong standards for version control, code review and approvals, branching and secrets management, keeping shared components, engineering content and customer-specific configuration cleanly separated.
  • Build maintain and operate the CI/CD pipelines that take engineering and detection-as-code content from change to production — target validation, automated and domain-specific testing, mandatory approvals, controlled deployment, post-deployment verification, full logging and audit trail, and reliable rollback
  • Engineer and evolve the automation platform end to end: develop and maintain playbook and use-case automation through a controlled development-to-production release process, owning the integrations, connectors, authentication and credentials that link the platform to the security stack
  • Enable teams to ship independently: build protected workflows and self-service tooling that let detection, engineering and automation owners deliver through the pipeline reliably and without manual bottlenecks.
  • Own the reliability of the delivery platform: centrally monitor pipelines, scheduled jobs and deployment drift, drive automated alerting and ticketing, and act as the escalation point for critical automation or pipeline failures.
  • Manage the technology lifecycle: track versions, dependencies, compatibility and end-of-support risks, and run controlled update and compatibility testing before rollout.
  • Run the delivery cadence: sprint planning, backlog grooming and retrospectives, with clear status, risk and roadmap reporting to management.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, automation, systems or infrastructure engineering, with proven experience building, implementing and operating CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, integrations and development tooling.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tooling, including Git-based source control, CI/CD, automated build and deployment processes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration automation and release management. Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform or similar is highly valued; specific tool expertise is not required.
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work confidently across operating systems, environments, deployments and infrastructure.
  • Strong Python skills, with PowerShell and/or Bash considered a plus, and a solid understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, authentication and event-driven automation.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing automation, with the ability to turn repetitive operational or engineering processes into reliable, maintainable and scalable automated workflows.
  • Good understanding of software development and delivery practices, including version control, branching strategies, code reviews, testing, deployment processes, release management and troubleshooting across development and production environments.
  • Experience working with cloud and/or infrastructure environments and understanding of modern infrastructure and deployment concepts is highly valued.
  • Leadership experience, either through direct team leadership or ownership of significant technical projects, initiatives or platforms, with the ability to provide technical guidance, mentor team members and drive delivery.
  • Comfortable prioritizing competing automation demands across stakeholders and workstreams.
  • Uncompromising about engineering quality and change control on anything that ships to production.
  • A strategic thinker who connects the team’s technical decisions to the bigger picture.
  • Calm under pressure with sound judgement when automation fails, and a strong communicator with management, teams and, where needed, customers.
  • Fluency in Greek and English

Nice to have

  • Familiar with SIEM/XDR platforms and detection-as-code practices.
  • Exposure to a SOAR or security automation platform — playbook design, use-case automation and integrations.
  • Exposure to containers and container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum delivery with JIRA and Tempo for sprint and capacity planning.
