About the Role

We are looking for a motivated WordPress Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in WordPress website development, maintenance, and content management. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of WordPress and a willingness to learn and work on live projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
  • Create and update pages, posts, menus, and website content.
  • Work with WordPress themes, plugins, and basic customisation.
  • Assist with website troubleshooting and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Perform basic website optimisation and ensure responsive layouts.
  • Support SEO-related website updates, including metadata, headings, URLs, and image optimisation.
  • Assist with website testing, QA, and identifying bugs.
  • Coordinate with the development and content teams on website requirements.
  • Learn and apply WordPress best practices under the guidance of senior team members.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of WordPress, themes, and plugins.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS; JavaScript/PHP knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with website management and CMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO is preferred.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
