Financial Analyst

Hybrid Schedule| Large Multi-State Vendor Portfolio.Job DescriptionIn this role, you'll support our Vegetation Management team by managing vendor invoices, purchase orders, accruals, and contractor-related financial activities while serving as a trusted partner to both vendors and internal stakeholders. You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, resolving invoice and purchasing issues, and driving operational efficiency.   • Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, including creation, validation, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Review and reconcile invoices against approved purchase orders and contracts.
  • Track and report on Capital and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) spending to ensure accurate financial allocation.
  • Support invoice management activities and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor PO funding levels and proactively identify funding gaps or overspending risks.
  • Manage accrual processes and ensure expenses are accurately reflected in financial reporting periods.
  • Utilize Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) tools to process and track invoices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts payable, procurement, or related financial support functions.
  • Experience with SAP, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), or other enterprise financial systems.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lake Elmo, MN.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
