Business Analyst - Business Systems

At Ozcare, we're committed to continually improving the systems and processes that support the delivery of quality care and services across Queensland. We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Business Systems team and play a key role in driving operational efficiency, system optimisation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Please note: This is not a project-based position.

As a Business Analyst, you'll work across a broad portfolio of business systems, partnering with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to understand business needs, improve processes and ensure our technology solutions continue to deliver value. You'll act as the link between business and technology, helping translate operational requirements into practical and sustainable solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to identify business needs, challenges and opportunities.

• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder consultations.

• Analyse and document business processes, system requirements and workflows.

• Assess the impact of proposed system changes, enhancements and integrations.

• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.

• Support system improvements, upgrades and optimisation initiatives.

• Assist with testing, validation and user acceptance activities.

• Develop process maps, business requirements, user stories and supporting documentation.

• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Support change management and user adoption activities where required.

About You

You'll be a proactive and relationship-focused Business Analyst who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and understanding how systems enable business outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a business systems, technology or digital environment.

• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.

• Experience working with enterprise applications and business systems.

• The ability to understand and discuss technical concepts without necessarily being hands-on technical.

• Experience working with system integrations, data flows or application enhancements.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience supporting testing and solution validation activities.

• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage with both operational and technical stakeholders.
