Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Team Lead to drive our data visualization strategy. You will act as a "data artisan," leading a team to design, build, and optimize high-performance Tableau dashboards directly on top of Databricks Lakehouse tables. You will manage end-to-end project delivery in an Agile environment, transforming complex data into clear business stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage a team of BI developers and oversee end-to-end data visualization projects.

• Agile Management: Lead sprint planning, task assignments, and tracking using JIRA and Confluence.

• Dashboard Development: Design advanced, interactive Tableau reports using data discovery and profiling.

• Databricks Integration: Connect Tableau to Databricks SQL Warehouses; align Delta tables with BI reporting needs.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize dashboard load times and tune complex Databricks SQL queries.

Requirements

• Experience: 8–12 years in BI/Analytics, with 7–8+ years dedicated to Tableau.

• Leadership: Proven experience as a Team Lead or People Manager.

• Databricks & SQL: Hands-on experience with Databricks (Delta Lake) and expert-level SQL query tuning.

• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure) and traditional databases.

• Tools & Tech: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and data prep tools (Tableau Prep, Python, ETL/ELT).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.

• Data Storytelling: Ability to translate complex data into impactful visual narratives.

• Execution: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication: Excellent skills to align with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

• Plus: Basic understanding of Finance, Sales, or HR business workflows.
