This role is pivotal in strategizing and overseeing engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development. - Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. - Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions with other business units. - Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. - Manage budget and resource allocation for engineering projects, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in all engineering activities. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and engineering initiatives. QualificationsRequired Education: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering or a related technical field. - At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within an engineering environment. - Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects. - Experience in strategic planning and execution in a technology-driven organization. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations pertinent to engineering and technology sectors. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of engineers. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovative solutions. - Proficient in project management methodologies and tools. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and technologies relevant to the company's industry. - Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within engineering teams. Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
