This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, RNA based in United States.

This role is responsible for driving growth, differentiation, and lifecycle management across an RNA-focused product portfolio. You will translate customer and market insights into product strategies, innovation priorities, and solutions that address meaningful needs across the life sciences sector. The position combines strategic portfolio ownership with hands-on product lifecycle, commercial, and customer responsibilities. You will work closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, Commercial, Marketing, and Strategy teams to align investments, resources, and priorities. A key part of the role involves shaping go-to-market plans, pricing, forecasting, sales enablement, and product launches. This is an opportunity to influence the evolution of RNA solutions within a regulated biotechnology environment while partnering directly with key customers.

Accountabilities: The Product Manager will lead strategic and commercial initiatives across the RNA portfolio, using customer insights, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to guide product decisions and deliver sustainable growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer and market insights through qualitative and quantitative research and direct customer engagement.
  • Identify unmet customer needs across relevant market segments and translate insights into new product and service concepts.
  • Define multi-year portfolio strategies and prioritize innovation investments based on market opportunities and customer value.
  • Drive portfolio rationalization and strategic trade-offs to focus resources on the most valuable opportunities.
  • Align R&D, Operations, Quality, and Commercial stakeholders on priorities, resources, and dependencies to support successful delivery.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including gated innovation and development, go-to-market planning, product launches, growth and optimization, and end-of-life strategies.
  • Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams on pricing, order and revenue forecasting, and margin performance.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, training, differentiated messaging, and value propositions to support commercial teams.
  • Establish systematic feedback loops from the field and incorporate customer and market learnings into portfolio and innovation decisions.
  • Act as the product lead in key customer discussions, address escalations, and translate customer feedback into roadmap priorities.
  • Manage complex projects and drive alignment across functions within a regulated biotechnology environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines product management expertise with strong client-facing experience and an understanding of the life sciences industry. You should be comfortable making strategic trade-offs, managing complex projects, analyzing market opportunities, and translating customer needs into actionable product strategies. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in client-facing roles, with demonstrated experience in product management and/or sales.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience required.
  • Experience in life sciences or a related healthcare field strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing projects within a regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device environment required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to anticipate risks and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate market feedback into product decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across R&D, Operations, Quality, Commercial, Marketing, and Strategy teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to balance innovation opportunities, customer needs, commercial priorities, and available resources.
  • An MBA or advanced scientific degree in areas such as cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the cell and gene therapy and broader life sciences industries is a plus.
  • Experience with stage-gate product development processes is preferred.
  • Experience implementing customer and market insight frameworks is advantageous.
