Are you passionate about enhancing customer experience through improving Amazon's EU Emerging Stores supply chain operations? Join the EU Emerging (EU EM) Stores team and help shape how we deliver for customers in some of Europe's fastest-growing market segments — including the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Belgium. As a Product Manager in Retail Supply Chain, you will build an in-depth understanding of Amazon's inventory placement, local fulfillment operations, and delivery speed optimization across emerging European markets. You will partner with central supply chain, operations, and technology teams to improve product availability and reduce cost-to-serve for millions of customers. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex problems at the intersection of retail, product and operations functions in a high-impact, high-autonomy role. The goal is to step-change product availability and delivery speed for our customers while reducing cost-to-serve.

Key job responsibilities

  • Execute inventory concentration in ideal Fulfillment Centers to enhance delivery speed for customers in EU Emerging Stores. Collaborate closely with partner teams to achieve these improvements.
  • Partner with other supply chain teams to deep dive and execute initiatives that improve local sourcing share in EU Emerging Stores.
  • Serve as country expert: Act as the primary point of contact for supply chain matters in one or a few specific EU Emerging countries. Provide in-depth knowledge and strategic guidance for that country's unique supply chain challenges and opportunities.
  • Improve Retail inventory availability and health in partnership with EU teams, focusing on reducing unhealthy inventory and improving in-stock rates.
  • Contribute to key business priority of cost-to-serve reduction by identifying and addressing top opportunities controlled by Retail Supply Chain.

A day in the life As you arrive at one of our corporate offices in Amsterdam, Stockholm, Warsaw, or Brussels and grab a first cup of coffee with your colleagues, you begin to look forward to your day. Approximately 60% of your time will be spent diving deep into supply chain data — analyzing inventory placement effectiveness, local sourcing metrics, and delivery speed performance — and translating those insights into concrete improvement initiatives. Another 30% of your time will be dedicated to cross-functional collaboration: aligning with central placement teams, operations partners, and technology teams to drive your initiatives forward. The remaining 10% of your time will be devoted to personal development, engaging in discussions, and working directly with your manager. You will own end-to-end delivery of projects, from identifying opportunities through data analysis, to building the business case, to collaborating with partner teams on execution, to measuring results. You will present your findings and recommendations in well-written documents and participate in weekly business reviews for your country markets.
