Summary of the Position Eagle Creek Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced IT DevOps Engineer to design, build, integrate, and automate the internal enterprise systems that power our technology operations — including our service desk platform, ManageEngine products, IT Glue, and related applications — while meeting rigorous cybersecurity and NERC CIP compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives on integrations, automation, and leveraging modern AI tools (Microsoft Copilot and Claude) in a hybrid Azure / on-premises environment.

Main Responsibilities Internal Systems Development & Administration• Design, configure, and maintain core Enterprise platforms: service desk/ticketing, the ManageEngine suite, IT Glue, and asset management tools.

• Continuously improve these platforms for efficiency, usability, and reporting.
• Own the full lifecycle of internal IT tools, from requirements through deployment and optimization.

Systems Integration & Automation• Build reliable integrations so IT systems exchange data accurately and in real time.

• Develop automation (scripting, APIs, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps) for onboarding/offboarding, ticket routing, and compliance evidence collection.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and Claude to accelerate development, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Azure Development & Hybrid Environment• Develop and support Azure solutions integrated with on-premises systems (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Entra ID, storage, monitoring).

• Ensure secure connectivity, identity management, and reliable data flows across the hybrid environment.

Development Practices & Compliance• Use GitHub for version control/CI-CD and Jira to manage development work and operational initiatives.

• Design systems and automations with cybersecurity and NERC CIP requirements in mind, supporting auditability, access controls, and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to identify risks and implement compensating controls.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience building and integrating IT operations platforms (service desk, documentation, asset management, RMM/endpoint tools); ManageEngine and IT Glue experience highly preferred.
• Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premises environments, particularly Microsoft Azure; familiarity with NERC CIP or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Strong automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar), REST APIs, and Azure development (Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Entra ID).
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jira, and demonstrated ability to use Copilot/Claude to accelerate development and documentation.
• Understanding of identity management, access controls, and security hardening of IT systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Preferred certifications: Azure (AZ-104/204/400), ManageEngine/ITSM, Security+, NERC CIP training, or GitHub/DevOps/Agile credentials.

Travel Requirements This position requires no travel as part of the job responsibilities.

Work Schedule Requirements The typical work schedule for this position is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. This position is hybrid and may require:• Overtime work 

• Occasional evening or weekend work
• The schedule and work hours may be adjusted based on organizational needs and the requirements of the position

Salary disclosure: The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location.
