How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, visually compelling materials that meet Gallagher’s standards of excellence and client expectations.
  • Ensure all deliverables maintain design integrity and align with custom templates and branding requirements.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of layout composition, organization, and structured deliverables.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to produce polished, professional results.
  • Interpret document amendments accurately and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
  • Communicate proactively with the line manager to share support needs and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Work independently to manage priorities and deliver outputs that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, techniques, and styles across print and digital formats.
  • Support team culture by encouraging collaboration, learning, and development.
  • Adhere to internal policies, procedures, shared values, laws, regulations, and governance standards.
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for assigned projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Guide the design team to ensure deliverables align with creative concepts and client expectations.
  • Oversee design and production work to maintain structured and organized template environments.
  • Mentor junior designers and review outputs to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and SLAs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and respond to their design needs professionally.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including design files, version control, and briefs.
  • Continuously improve design processes to increase efficiency and team performance.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to the creative direction of design projects.
  • Take ownership of professional growth and support knowledge sharing within the team.

About you

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional design experience, focusing on business presentations, marketing collateral, and branding.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of iconography, typography, color theory, space, and texture.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior designers.
  • Experience conducting quality reviews and providing constructive feedback.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced understanding of brand strategy and visual identity.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective time management, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead design projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior designers.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships, solicit feedback, and continuously improve design processes.
