You will also be part of a great international team: Immoweb belongs to AVIV Group, a leading European PropTech company whose brands include Immowelt, SeLoger and Meilleurs Agents, giving you access to housing data far beyond Belgium.

What You’ll Own
As Senior Housing Economist & Data Scientist, you will own the link between housing data, Marketing and Product. This role sits at the intersection of:
- Economics & content: market indicators, research and storytelling,
- Data science & modelling: Python-based analysis & production, and housing market insights models,
- Leadership & partnership: initiatives that bring housing data into actionable marketing actions and impactful product evolutions, from idea to impact.
Your objective: lead initiatives that turn market data into content, tools and features that create value for the platform; their users and the business.
Data Science
- Explore, clean, and analyze diverse datasets to extract relevant insights,
- Identify key market indicators and build tailored quantitative or machine learning models (AVM or hedonic indices-type),
Maintain and regularly update market indicators autonomously using clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
Housing economics x Marketing
- Turn indicators into strategic content: market reports, Press Releases, SEO pages and editorial articles to bring traffic and visibility,
- Developing and maintaining data collaborations with academia, public institutions and private sector partners.
- Position Immoweb as the trusted expert of the Belgian housing market.
Housing decision making x Product
- Identify valuable tools for users related with housing decision making,
- Translate housing data and market insights into interpretable insights and decision-making tools for sellers, buyers and professionals
- Prototype data products and dashboards (e.g. Streamlit) and automate recurring analyses
Leadership & quality
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Marketing and Product teams: define the opportunity, align stakeholders, deliver and measure impact
- Ensure data quality, consistency and economic robustness of all outputs
- Set methodological standards, review code and share knowledge with the team
What We’ll Achieve Together
Your objective: lead initiatives that turn market data into content, tools and features that create value for the platform; their users and the business.
- Direct impact on millions of users and strategic business decisions within Immoweb as well as on agents and partner’s side.
- A leading role in shaping Immoweb’s data-driven offering in Belgium
- The opportunity to become a spokesperson for Immoweb on the Belgian housing market (media, press and events). We’ll put the necessary training in place to reach the highest possible standards.
