We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our client’s growing consultancy team in Belgium. In this role, you’ll work closely with insurance experts and business leaders to analyze data, uncover trends, and guide strategic decisions. You’ll play a key part in helping insurers transform their operations and deliver more value to their customers.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources to support client projects.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with consultants and client teams to understand business challenges and shape data-driven solutions.
- Support insurance-related projects across areas such as risk analysis, claims optimization, customer segmentation, and pricing.
- Contribute to predictive and advanced analytics initiatives using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Present findings in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve data processes, models, and tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Understanding of data modeling, statistical methods, and visualization best practices.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a strong plus.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is highly valued.
