Full description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer Pleno based in Brazil.

This is a remote Product Design role focused on creating intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences in the automotive technology sector. You will participate in product discovery from the earliest stages, using research, data, and hypotheses to shape solutions around real user needs. The role combines UX, UI, research, prototyping, design systems, and information architecture with emerging AI-assisted design workflows. You will increasingly work with functional prototypes built directly in code, collaborating closely with developers to reduce handoff friction and rework. You will also help evolve a shared design system and maintain living documentation that guides both people and AI tools toward consistent interfaces. The environment is collaborative, dynamic, and experimentation-oriented, with opportunities to influence both product strategy and the way design teams work with AI. It is well suited to a designer who combines creativity and analytical thinking with strong communication, adaptability, and a desire to continuously improve.

Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers during product discovery, bringing research evidence, user insights, and solution hypotheses into early-stage discussions.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, questionnaires, usability testing, A/B testing, and analysis of usage data, using AI to accelerate the synthesis and organization of findings.

• Create navigable, functional prototypes directly in the design codebase, using AI-assisted tools rather than relying exclusively on static screens.

• Evolve and maintain the design system as code, including reusable components, design tokens, and interface patterns.

• Conduct usability testing on code-based prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on user insights and behavioral metrics.

• Define and guide design strategy while aligning product decisions with business objectives and AI-enabled workflows.

• Work closely with developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically viable and minimize rework during implementation.

• Create and maintain living documentation within the codebase, including component guidelines, design specifications, interaction patterns, and prompts or context that help AI generate consistent interfaces.

• Structure content and functionality through clear information architecture, intuitive navigation, and efficient user flows.

• Monitor design trends, AI tools for product development, and industry best practices, bringing continuous improvements to both products and design processes.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or a related field, with a portfolio demonstrating practical product design work.

• Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing and prototyping, combined with openness to adopting code-based, AI-assisted prototyping workflows.

• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative user research methods, including interviews, questionnaires, usability testing, A/B testing, and usage-data analysis.

• Experience using analytics and behavioral tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or similar platforms to understand user behavior and evaluate design effectiveness.

• Strong UI design fundamentals, including typography, color, iconography, layout, and the creation of clear and intuitive interfaces.

• Solid UX knowledge covering personas, journey mapping, information architecture, user flows, and usability testing.

• Understanding of design systems, including reusable components, design tokens, and methods for maintaining consistency across a shared product ecosystem.

• Knowledge of accessibility principles and practical application of WCAG guidelines.

• Effective communication, stakeholder management, teamwork, time management, adaptability, critical thinking, and resilience.

• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and identify when they require refinement, correction, or human judgment.

• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping using tools such as Claude Code or similar platforms is a strong advantage.

• Basic front-end knowledge, including the ability to read and adjust HTML, CSS, and React components or equivalent technologies, is desirable.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows such as branches, commits, and pull requests is a plus.

• Experience creating prompts, AI-oriented documentation, or other context used to guide AI agents is advantageous.

• A portfolio featuring functional prototypes built in code, rather than exclusively static mockups, is highly valued.

• Background in software development, front-end development, or digital marketing is considered a plus.

Benefits:

• Fully remote work model.

• PJ (independent contractor) engagement.

• Home office allowance.

• Online therapy through Moodar.

• Wellhub/Gympass membership.

• Access to Alura learning platform.

• Birthday day off.

• Contract renewal bonus.

• Paid company recess.
