About the Role
If you've ever wanted to define an emerging capability rather than inherit someone else's roadmap, this is your opportunity.
As USV Product Manager, You lead the development of our USV (Uncrewed Surface Vessel) capability, shaping how uncrewed systems become a core part of future maritime surveillance, maritime security and maritime domain awareness solutions. You'll bring together platforms, sensors, communications, autonomy and mission systems to create solutions that solve real-world operational challenges.
Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, you'll turn complex requirements into credible, scalable and deployable capabilities. From border security and illegal fishing to critical infrastructure protection, your work will help customers gain greater visibility, understanding and control across the maritime domain.
As the recognised lead for USV capability, you'll shape product strategy, guide technology partnerships and help position SRT at the forefront of autonomous maritime technology.
About You
You're already operating within the maritime technology sector and understand the realities of maritime surveillance, maritime security or maritime operations.
Perhaps you're looking for greater influence, broader ownership or the opportunity to shape the future direction of autonomous maritime capability. Here, you'll combine your market expertise, commercial judgement and product leadership skills to build solutions that will be deployed in real-world maritime environments across the globe.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience within USV, UxV, maritime surveillance, maritime security, maritime operations or maritime technology
- A strong understanding of USV platforms, autonomy, sensors, communications and remote operation centres
- Experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, business cases and customer-led solutions
- The ability to translate operational requirements into practical, scalable and commercially viable capabilities
- Knowledge of maritime surveillance applications such as border security, EEZ monitoring, illegal fishing detection, port security and critical infrastructure protection
- Enough systems-engineering literacy to assess integration feasibility, interface dependencies and supplier claims credibly
- Familiarity with technologies including AIS, radar, EO/IR, sonar, RF detection,
multi-layer communications and C5ISR systems
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage customers, suppliers, engineers and senior decision-makers
- A willingness to travel globally in support of customer engagements, demonstrations, field trials and programme delivery
Apply
This is more than a Product Manager opportunity. It's a chance to help define how autonomous maritime capability is deployed across the world.
