About the Role
Gap Inc. has embarked on an enterprise-wide Product to Market (P2M) Transformation — IndigoX — to reimagine our product engine operating model, strengthen end-to-end capabilities, and accelerate speed, creativity, and resilience across all brands. At the heart of IndigoX is the Digital Product Creation (DPC) pillar, which is transforming how Gap Inc. conceives, designs, and develops product through next-generation digital tools, AI-enabled workflows, and modern collaboration practices spanning the full product creation lifecycle.
The Manager, P2M Transformation – DPC will serve as a critical activation partner for the DPC workstream, driving program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and business value realization. This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution — translating transformation vision into structured, measurable programs and partnering closely with product, design, technology, sourcing, and finance teams to bring DPC priorities to life.
This individual will report into the Director, P2M Transformation. What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end program delivery for DPC workstreams, including milestone tracking, risk management, and cross-functional accountability across brand and functional partners.
- Serve as the connective tissue between DPC transformation leadership, business owners, and technology teams — ensuring clarity of objectives, alignment on priorities, and visibility into program health.
- Build and maintain rigorous governance materials that accurately reflect program progress and value delivery, calibrated to the right audience and level of detail.
- Identify and resolve interdependencies, escalate risks proactively, and drive resolution of blockers before they impact DPC timelines or business results.
- Support business value tracking and benefits realization for DPC initiatives — connecting program milestones to financial outcomes and capability uplift.
- Partner with change management to develop adoption plans, stakeholder communications, and training strategies that support DPC capability rollout across brands.
- Champion AI-native ways of working within the DPC program — actively applying generative AI and agentic tools to streamline reporting, accelerate synthesis, and unlock new operating models for how the team delivers work.
- Develop leadership communication materials that ensure audience-calibrated storytelling and clarity on program impact, from working team to executive levels.
- Bring external perspective and fresh thinking to how the DPC program operates — introducing new methodologies, ways of working, and problem-solving approaches that challenge the status quo and raise the bar.
Who You Are
- 5–7 years of professional experience; we welcome backgrounds from consulting, technology, finance, consumer goods, apparel, or any industry where strong problem-solving, structured thinking, and complex program delivery are core to the work.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in ambiguous environments — the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to situations where neither is given.
- A native AI mindset — you don't just use AI tools, you actively look for ways to embed AI into how you and your team operate, communicate, and deliver. You're comfortable experimenting and bringing others along.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to frame ambiguous problems, synthesize cross-functional inputs, and develop actionable recommendations grounded in logic and evidence.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills — experienced working alongside senior leaders and cross-functional partners to influence decisions, align priorities, and operationalize strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to build executive-level communications with clarity, precision, and audience awareness — adjusting depth and framing for different leadership contexts.
- A genuine appetite for bringing new ideas and ways of working into the organization — not just executing plans, but improving how transformation itself is delivered.
- Comfort with ambiguity and organizational complexity; able to navigate shifting priorities, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and adapt quickly to a dynamic environment.
