About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join us on an initial 3-month contract engagement. You'll provide operational support across enterprise network environments, working on incidents, changes, upgrades, performance optimisation, and ongoing network maintenance.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly integrate into an existing team, troubleshoot complex networking issues, and confidently manage network operations with minimal ramp-up time.
What You'll Do• Manage network incidents, requests, alerts, and change activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues.
- Perform software upgrades and support network infrastructure maintenance.
- Monitor network performance and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and ITSM records.
- Work with vendors, carriers, and third-party providers to resolve network issues.
- Support enterprise LAN, WAN, and internet environments.
- Contribute to operational excellence through proactive monitoring and problem resolution.
What You'll Bring• 3+ years' experience in Network Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
- Solid understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, and routing protocols.
- Proven troubleshooting and incident management capability.
- Experience working within enterprise operational environments.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Cisco certification (CCNA or higher) and cloud exposure will be highly regarded.
