Job Responsibilities:

·         Live out Broan’s core values of safety, bias for action, trust, and entrepreneurship.

·         Manage time and task load well as to be prompt for production support and quality meetings.

·         Conduct incoming inspections by using the appropriate measurement instruments.

·         Answer production line calls for quality support through proper documentation and follow through.

·         Process non-conformance records in our electronic database and assist in resolving them.

·         Conduct dimensional analysis in support of the PPAP process, quality requests, customer issues, and regulatory needs.

·         Annually pass skills check for inspection techniques, quality standards, and equipment use.

·         Participate in team and production meetings.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (completed).
  • Proficient or willing to learn hand tools, gauges, and measurement equipment.
  • Proficient or willing to learn how to read drawings.
  • CMM experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in reading drawings and Bill of Materials.
  • Work well in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience working with a QMS is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

·         Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.  

·         Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time. 

·         Ability to sit and use a computer for a prolonged period of time.

  • Ability to safely travel throughout the plant each day to partner with others on projects and provide support as needed
