The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality by designing and executing test cases across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Working closely with developers and product managers, the role involves tracking defects in Jira, developing automated tests with Selenium and Cypress, and continuously improving QA processes and standards.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans to ensure product quality.
- Identify, record, and track bugs through Jira.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Review and analyze system specifications and documentation.
- Continuously improve testing processes and suggest quality improvements.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback on test results and overall product quality.
Who are you?
- You have a degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- You have at least 4 years of experience in software testing, in a service-oriented environment, with a strong focus on automation.
- You are particularly good at designing, planning, executing, analyzing and documenting software tests.
- You have impressive knowledge and working experience with Selenium.
- You are ruthless on automation, but also incredibly good at manual testing and you understand its importance and necessity, especially in dealing with complex, real-world scenarios.
- You have experience in working with connected devices (IoT).
- You are curious, eager to get things done and you are driven to further develop yourself.
- You enjoy being challenged and have fun while doing your job.
- You have a proficient command of the English (must).
