Your responsibilities
- This role is responsible for developing, applying and maintaining a full range of activities associated with People Analytics, Process Improvement and Process Re-Engineering
- Execute the implementation of the Human Resource data analytics & process efforts, executing the overall strategy developed by P&P and Intuit.
- Design and place into operation a suite of tools that show data in meaningful ways, enabling decisions based on the science of accurate, actionable insights
- Identify sources of data of analytical value, root cause incorrect data to be detected and corrected, augment internally created data with external sources, AI, and learning algorithms, and consolidate data into a unified analytics-friendly environment
- Create and maintain all relevant artifacts needed for a successful analytical operation, develop business requirements roadmaps to ensure that client expectations are satisfied, write technical specifications/Wikis, and catalog current and future state conditions
- Support/Own change management activities for HR Data Analytics & Process efforts
- Responsible for creating and maintaining new/innovative reporting platforms to convey results using the allocated tools
- Responsible for converting complex data into visually appealing presentation formats to be delivered to audiences at all levels
- Assist the HR Data Services department in carrying out various human resources programs, processes and procedures for all project employees in multiple locations
- Process Oriented – create process maps and workflow diagrams for all processes
- Partner across platforms to provide data that will lead to more informed decision making. Work with recruiting managers to develop and maintain user dashboards that display real time.
- Evaluate trends on process and measuring organizational effectiveness and make recommendations for further optimization. Make recommendations to improve existing data-collection methodologies
- Ensure high integrity and accuracy of recruiting data through audits and governance - consistently work and train all recruiting, sourcing and operations staff as well as recruiting leadership on best practices around data integrity aligned to reporting needs and functionality
- Processes employee changes and terminations submitted in Workday and other org changes ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality. This includes promotions / demotions / lateral / transfers, temp associate hires, pay increases, schedules, placing associates on leave, returning associates from leave, and others.
- Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs. Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
- Enter accurate data updates in the HR system and provide information in the form of reports, evidence, documentation and data to control functions such as Litigation, Employment, Legal, and Compliance
- Accurately process and maintain employment records such as new hire paperwork and other employee data changes.
- Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly. Cross audit of employee records entered to maintain data integrity.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly data audits to ensure accurate data entry for new hires based on standard rules
- Ensure timely and complete responses to unemployment filings
- Analyze service requests to proactively identify what is needed prior to completing transactions in Workday and other systems
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and developing solutions
- Check all emails and Slack messages continually throughout the day and respond to inquiries and asks upon receipt.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Demonstrate a passion for research and data and be highly skilled in performing quantitative analyses on various business functions
- Must have at least (3) three demonstrable years of advanced capabilities with the entire Microsoft Suite and Google Suite of products; create, format, and maintain various documents and spreadsheets to support business operations. Exceptional ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets, including formulas, EIBs, pivot tables, and various chart types and other collaboration tools within Google and Microsoft Workspace.
- Risk-minded focus; Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and quality assurance strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of HR including employment federal, state and local laws.
- Solid understanding of employment-based processes.
- Must have at least (3) three demonstrable years of HR systems and operations (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, iCIMS, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Federal regulations and SOX and Legal compliance.
- Self-motivated, be proactive taking initiative and going beyond your call of duty, be helpful and service-oriented, have exceptional problem-solving skills, work comfortably in a cross-functional setting
- Highly collaborative/ability to partner with various teams such as Legal, HR Technology, HR Transformation, etc.
- Be able to receive feedback and quickly take corrective action to ensure completion of hiring tasks and employment authorization.
- Experience working with internal and external audit groups
- Advanced competency in core professional skills, especially critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving, attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact.
- Follow all Guides and Wikis on a daily basis to ensure compliance and data entry integrity and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment and advanced competency to respond professionally.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations while managing confidential information appropriately and professionally.
- Regular and reliable attendance. Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Arizona time. MUST be based in Tucson or able to adhere to work hours in Arizona time zone for the duration of employment.
- Meet set daily metrics and submit metrics reports daily.
Pay: $30/hr.
