Position Overview
Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a System Administrator to support mission-critical IT systems and infrastructure. This role will provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support, troubleshoot and maintain UNIX and Windows environments, and optimize system reliability and performance.
What You'll Do
- Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems.
- Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Provide technical assistance to users accessing and utilizing IT systems.
- Support day-to-day IT operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of ticket status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provide support for dispatch system and hardware issues and remain involved throughout the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software.
- Troubleshoot operating systems and network components while maintaining system integrity and reliability.
- Implement operating system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
- Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide in-depth troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex IT systems.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers on escalated tickets.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- This position requires an active TS/SCI w/polygraph clearance
- Bachelor’s degree: 10 years of relevant experience required OR
- High school diploma: 15 years of relevant experience required
- Certification: Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification required.
