About the Role

IT Tech Hub (ITH) is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join one of our client projects on a full-time, long-term contractor basis.

We are looking for someone with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling, who can transform complex data into clear, scalable, and actionable dashboards and reporting solutions.

You will collaborate with data and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, develop effective data models, and deliver high-quality BI solutions that support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Build efficient and scalable data models.
  • Develop advanced calculations and business logic using DAX.
  • Perform data transformation and preparation using Power Query / M.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Optimize Power BI reports for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Implement data security and Row-Level Security (RLS) when required.
  • Support existing BI solutions and continuously improve reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX.
  • Strong experience with Power Query / M.
  • Solid SQL skills.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other Azure data services.
  • Experience with Power BI Dataflows.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and cloud-based data platforms.

Contract Details

  • Contract: Independent Contractor through IT Tech Hub (ITH)
  • Commitment: Full-time
  • Schedule: 8 hours per day
  • Location: 100% Remote
