What You'll Do

In addition to continuing to work as a Product Manager, the Supervising Product Manager will take on supervisory responsibilities, which include:

  • Assists management in the operation of the department, including the coordination of resources and assets, budgeting and scheduling, process and work system management, interviewing/hiring, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Mentors other members of the app management team, including the technical and administrative supervision of another team member’s work.
  • Reviews app strategy with managers/directors to ensure that the final products are built to specifications and meeting needs of the customers.
  • Assists in ensuring product management lifecycle processes are consistent with the Company.
  • Completes performance appraisals as required by Company policies in a timely fashion, including follow-up responsibility to assist with professional development and/or disciplinary actions as required for the staff assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Speech-Language Pathology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three years of Product Management experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

  • Supervisory or people leadership experience.
  • Experience working with AAC users, communication partners, and AAC professionals.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Previous experience in a medical device, healthcare, or assistive technology environment.
