Role Summary
Security Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the enterprise Microsoft Purview Data Protection Program. Assists with policy administration, incident investigations, data discovery activities, and reporting while helping ensure sensitive company information is appropriately protected.

Responsibilities
- Monitor Microsoft Purview DLP alerts and investigate data protection incidents.
- Review and analyze data loss prevention events for potential policy violations.
- Assist with DLP policy testing, implementation, and tuning activities.
- Document incident findings, remediation actions, and lessons learned
- Generate operational metrics, dashboards, and trend reports.
- Support compliance audits and evidence collection activities.
- Maintain DLP procedures, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
- Escalate high-risk incidents according to established processes.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of Information Security, Data Protection, Compliance, or Security Engineering experience
- 2+ years working with Microsoft Purview or Microsoft 365 Security technologies.
- Experience implementing DLP and information protection controls.
- Experience developing security policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
