About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
We’re looking for an outcome-driven Product Manager — Internal Billing Tools to own the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Nebius’ internal billing systems. You will own the tools, processes, and automation that ensure billing is accurate, auditable, and fast for our internal teams and enterprise partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the roadmap for billing workflows, prioritizing initiatives based on risk, compliance, and scalability.
- Translate complex enterprise needs into a clear, prioritized product vision.
- Balance immediate operational fixes with long-term platform investments in billing integrity.
Discovery & Research
- Run discovery with internal stakeholders (Finance, Support, Sales) and external partners (Resellers/SIs) to identify failure modes in the billing lifecycle.
- Validate automation ideas that replace manual work, such as quota management, billing account setup, and reconciliation.
- Synthesize regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR/DSR) into functional product controls.
Execution & Delivery
- Write concise PRDs and user stories for internal billing consoles, APIs, and reconciliation pipelines.
- Design and implement billing-specific RBAC/IAM models to ensure secure, least-privilege access for internal teams and partners.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to reduce manual operational hours and human error in billing corrections.
Cross-functional Leadership & Measurement
- Align Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Partner Ops to deliver compliant, auditable billing flows.
- Define and own OKRs for billing health, including reconciliation gaps, partner onboarding time, and manual task reduction.
- Define operational SLAs and runbooks for billing incidents, ensuring high system uptime and data integrity.
We expect you to have:
Experience
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, specifically owning financial systems, billing, payments, or complex backoffice operations.
- Proven record of shipping automations that materially reduce manual operational hours.
- Experience in B2B/Enterprise domains, ideally involving reseller or partner-based billing models.
Technical Skills
- Deep domain knowledge of billing architectures: invoicing, ledger reconciliation, multi-tenant chargebacks, and pricing models.
- Technical fluency to partner with Engineering/SREs on RBAC/IAM, data pipelines, and API design.
- Ability to use SQL/analytics to diagnose operational issues and measure billing integrity.
Soft Skills
- Stakeholder management: Comfortable navigating the needs of Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
- Clarity in ambiguity: Able to translate high-level compliance or revenue goals into specific technical requirements.
- Customer empathy: A focus on the "internal customer," building tools that make our Ops and Support teams more efficient.
