CAMO Aerospace Engineer & MRO Support A400M (d/m/w)
To support the CAMO element for the A400M fleet, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a committed and competent individual. In this responsible role, you will be the central interface for ensuring continuing airworthiness as well as maximizing fleet availability and safety. Wunstorf is located in the immediate vicinity of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony and directly on the Steinhuder Meer. Tasks & Responsibilities
- You will competently represent the CAMO element towards the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and manage upcoming maintenance and retrofit events on schedule and in compliance with quality standards.
- You will proactively plan required maintenance measures and reliably monitor the progress of work within the MRO organizations.
- You will ensure the highest quality of technical documentation and verify full compliance with all DEMAR M and PERAM 145 regulations.
- You will be responsible for the professional management of engineering documents and their impact on aircraft configuration, weight, and balance.
- As the central point of contact, you will cooperatively coordinate the interfaces between MRO organizations, engine manufacturers, and customer systems.
- You will take over the structured analysis and management of airworthiness documentation across all ATA chapters.
Skills & Qualifications
- You hold a degree in aerospace engineering, a comparable academic qualification, or a Part-66 license (CAT A/B1/B2).
- You bring sound professional experience in the field of airline engineering or in maintaining continuing airworthiness (Part M, Part 145, Part 21).
- Initial knowledge of maintenance planning and configuration management is required for this position.
- You are confident and proficient in using standard MS Office applications.
- You stand out through a high level of engagement, problem-solving skills, as well as strong and integrative communication skills within a team.
- For professional collaboration in both international and national environments, you are fluent in German and English.
