Technical Writer

We are looking for a Technical Writer to create and maintain technical documentation for production equipment and enterprise software solutions. Key deliverables include user manuals for equipment operators, engineers, and ERP system users. 

Our documentation team uses a Docs-as-Code approach and develops content in lightweight markup languages such as Markdown and rst (reStructuredText). We are also expanding product localization through AI-assisted workflows, and the Technical Writer plays a key role in supporting translation processes and multilingual content quality. 

Responsibilities 

• Create, maintain, and update user documentation for production equipment in accordance with the Microsoft Writing Style Guide and internal documentation standards. 

• Prepare and manage source files (for example, Excel and rst files) for HMI localization projects and maintain translation dictionaries and terminology resources. 

• Maintain user documentation for the internal ERP system and update administrative policies and procedures. 

• Create and maintain specifications for machine-to-machine communication. 

• Collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, and other subject matter experts to gather information and validate content. 

• Test products and documentation from the perspective of the target audience to ensure accuracy, usability, and completeness. 

Qualifications 

• At least 3 years of experience creating technical documentation. 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in a technical field. 

• English proficiency B2 level or higher. 

• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex technical concepts. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to communicate information clearly, accurately, and in a structured manner. 

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git. 

• Basic programming skills. 

• Experience working with documentation as code, source control systems, or localization workflows. 

• Familiarity with AI-assisted translation or content localization processes.
