Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 14600 - 22 300 PLN gross/month

What will you do?

Join a team building a strategic cloud-based risk data platform that delivers large-scale market data processing and analytics capabilities. You will work on modern data processing pipelines, microservices, and integration solutions, helping to design scalable and high-performance systems that handle both real-time and batch workloads. The role combines software engineering, data engineering, and cloud technologies in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

Your tasks

  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions
  • Design and develop data processing pipelines for large-scale data workloads
  • Build and maintain Java and Spring Boot based microservices
  • Design and implement REST APIs
  • Integrate internal systems with a focus on performance and cost optimization
  • Develop solution blueprints for market data ingestion patterns
  • Review solutions created by other team members
  • Assess and improve existing data pipelines and microservices
  • Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders Implement industry-standard logging, monitoring, and error-handling practices
  • Support automated recovery mechanisms and operational excellence
  • Promote automated unit and regression testing practices

Your skills

  • Strong knowledge of Java Experience with Spring Boot and its ecosystem
  • Knowledge of software design principles including KISS, SOLID and DRY
  • Experience designing and implementing data processing pipelines
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Experience with Jenkins Basic knowledge of Groovy scripting
  • Knowledge of integration frameworks and patterns

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Bigtable)
  • Experience with containerization, orchestration and Infrastructure as Code technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
  • Experience with monitoring, observability and messaging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of Apache Beam or Vaadin
