Full description

About the Role

This is a single technical thread from first discovery call through to a customer operating in production. Sitting within the Commercial Organization and working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, you own the solution design before the contract and carry it through delivery after signature. The continuity is the point: what gets scoped is what gets built.

What You'll Do

  • Run technical and process discovery with customer stakeholders across supply chain, quality, logistics, and IT to uncover current-state workflows, data sources, and constraints.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations mapped to each customer's own lanes, products, and release process rather than a generic script, and handle technical objections on the spot.
  • Own the initial solution design and solution map, defining which modules apply, what data is required, which integrations are in scope, and what is phased or excluded.
  • Translate solution designs into scoped, sequenced statements of work and implementation plans, sizing effort honestly and surfacing long-lead items before they become commitments.
  • Partner with Sales on proposals and order forms to ensure every commercial commitment is technically deliverable, and flag anything that is not.
  • Lead solution workshops during delivery, guide configuration of lane qualification, command center, and automated product release modules against customer profiles, and stay accountable through go-live.
  • Coordinate with Product, Data, and Engineering to sequence deliverables, manage technical handoffs, and feed real customer patterns back into the roadmap.
  • Build reusable assets including reference solution designs, discovery question banks, scoping templates, and integration patterns to accelerate future engagements.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 or more years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager delivering enterprise software implementations.
  • Proven ability to run technical discovery with cross-functional stakeholders and translate requirements into end-to-end solution designs spanning pre-sales through go-live.
  • Experience scoping and sequencing implementation plans, sizing effort, and identifying dependencies and long-lead items.
  • Strong track record delivering customer-tailored product demonstrations and handling technical objections in sales situations.
  • Hands-on experience configuring or implementing enterprise software modules such as product release management, qualification systems, or command and control platforms.
  • Background in supply chain, cold chain, logistics, or quality management systems and workflows.
  • Experience coordinating technical handoffs across Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
  • Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as Figma or FigJam, and project tracking systems such as Jira or Linear.
  • Familiarity with data integration patterns, API-driven architectures, or system interoperability challenges is a plus.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, food, or healthcare, with compliance and traceability requirements, is a plus.
  • Experience building reusable discovery frameworks, solution templates, or implementation playbooks is a plus.
