Job Summary

IIQAF Group is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven Business Analyst to join our hospitality team in Dubai. The Business Analyst will analyze business processes, operational performance, financial data, customer trends, and business requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, hospitality operations, revenue performance, costs, and operational KPIs.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from internal stakeholders.
  • Identify business problems, operational inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop business reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance analysis for management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue metrics, occupancy, customer satisfaction, operational costs, and profitability.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
  • Support management in strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business decision-making.
  • Analyze customer behavior, market trends, competitor performance, and hospitality industry developments.
  • Prepare management presentations and executive reports using business and operational data.
  • Track the performance and outcomes of business improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with project planning, implementation, testing, and change management activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of business requirements, processes, reports, and analytical findings.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and quality across business reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, Process Analyst, Management Analyst, or Reporting Analyst is preferred.
  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, tourism, travel, retail, or service industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, process improvement, requirements gathering, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, financial analysis, operational reporting, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business data into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
